Information about your registration, sending newsletters and statistical evaluations can be found in our privacy policy (link). Unsubscribing from our newsletter is possible at any time.

Content of the newsletter

We only send newsletters with the consent of the recipient or a legal permission. In our newsletter you will find information on new items and collections, outfit inspiration, sale offers and other activities such as give-aways or personal vouchers. We send the newsletter a maximum of four times a week.

Use of the newsletter service "MailChimp"

The newsletter is distributed via "MailChimp", an email marketing service of the Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave # 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.
The e-mail addresses of our newsletter recipients, as well as other information described in this privacy statement, are stored on the servers of MailChimp in the USA. MailChimp uses this information to send and evaluate the newsletters on our behalf. Furthermore, MailChimp may, according to its own information, use this data to optimize or improve its own services, e.g. for the technical optimization of the sending and presentation of the newsletter or for economic purposes, to determine from which countries the recipients are. However, MailChimp does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to correspond with them or to pass it on to third parties.
We rely on the reliability, IT and data security of MailChimp. MailChimp is certified under the US-EU privacy shield "Privacy Shield" and is committed to comply with EU data protection requirements. Furthermore, we have concluded a data processing agreement with MailChimp. This is a contract in which MailChimp guarantees to protect the data of our users, to process it in accordance with its privacy policy on our behalf and, in particular, not to disclose it to third parties. The privacy policy of MailChimp can be viewed here:

Credentials and other information stored on your customer account

To subscribe to the newsletter, it is sufficient to enter your e-mail address.
In our newsletter popup we also ask you for your name and date of birth. If you sign up for the newsletter when registering your account or completing an order, additional information such as address, date of birth and order date will be sent to Mailchimp. We use this information to adjust the content of the newsletter to the interests of our readers.
By signing up for the newsletter, you agree that we may use the information you provide and other information stored on your customer account, as well as pseudonymised usage data, to provide you with personalized advertising and/or special offers and services.

Statistics and analysis

The newsletters contain a so-called "web-beacon", a pixel-sized file that is retrieved from the MailChimp server when the newsletter is opened. This file will initially collect technical information, such as information about the browser and your system, as well as your IP address and time of retrieval. This information is used to improve the technical performance of services based on their specifications or audience and their reading habits, based on their locations (which can be determined using the IP address) or access times.
Collected statistics also include determining if newsletters are opened, when they are opened and which links are clicked. For technical reasons, this information can be assigned to the individual newsletter recipients. However, it is neither our nor MailChimp’s desire to observe individual users. The evaluations help us to recognize the reading habits of our users and adapt our content to them. This way we can send different content based on the interests of our users.

Online linking and data management

There are cases in which we direct the newsletter recipients to the MailChimp website. For example, our newsletters contain a link that allows newsletter recipients to view newsletters online (for example, in the case of display problems in the e-mail program). Furthermore, newsletter recipients can store their data, such as a corrected e-mail address, later. The privacy policy of MailChimp is only available on their website.
In this context, we would like to point out that cookies are used on the website of MailChimp. Thus, personal data of newsletter recipients is processed by MailChimp, their partners and service providers (for example, Google Analytics). We have no influence on this data collection. For more information, see the privacy policy of MailChimp.

Termination / withdrawal

You can end the subscription of the King Louie newsletter at any time. This means, you withdraw your given permission. This will, at the same time, invalidate your permission to send newsletters via MailChimp as a statistical analysis by MailChimp. The permissions for sending via MailChimp and making statistical analysis can not be withdrawn separately.
A link to end the newsletter subscription can be found at the end of each newsletter. After unsubscribing, your data will be deleted within 14 days.

Your personal data is securely transmitted over an encrypted connection. This applies to your order and customer login. For this we use the coding system SSL (Secure Socket Layer). Furthermore, we secure our websites and other systems with technical and organizational measures against the loss, destruction, access, modification or dissemination of your data by unauthorized persons.
